Wi-Fi in the clouds

Posted by Ron Coleman on November 23, 2008

Wi-Fi  is finally working its way into airplanes… slowly, though.

What on earth is taking so long?  Can we trade in the four peanuts and the free issue of Skymall in order to get this going?

Forget airplanes. Why doesn’t Amtrak have WiFi? Do you realize that a bus going from DC to NYC provides WiFi and tickets on it cost only $30? For tickets at $150 a pop, surely Amtrak could add a little wireless.
