Ron Coleman’s McCain Info-me-cials: #2 — Beyond weak on defense

Posted by Ron Coleman on October 30, 2008

Until we started winning the Iraq war, Democrats couldn’t wait to lose it, and hard.  Barack Obama was absolutely part of that.

Whether you believe he was merely posturing for the nomination, or that he is that contemptuous of both America’s ability to protect its interests and its troops as well as our intelligence, his stance on the Iraq war at its lowest point does not bespeak leadership.

Aw come on Ron. This doesn’t pass the laugh test. “Won the war?” Are you serious? For one thing, if we’ve won, what are we still doing there?

Fact is, we haven’t won. And not only that, you can’t even tell me what “winning the Iraq war” even means.
