I have been interested and involved, mainly on the periphery, in politics for over 25 years, but I am astonished at how so many people don’t get sick of the constant partisanship, the ankle-biting, the personal attacks — and the substantive stuff too. The position papers, staying up to date on every little thing, and who said what and…

    I hear ya!

    Like, who can keep up with all this trade mark and copy right yada yada. With “X vs Y” here, and “9th Circuit” this, and “likelihood” that…

    And some of them do first amendment fights pro bono!

    Oh,yeah, then there’s the Latin stuff to worry about too. I think “pro bono” means “for fun”.

    Where do they find the energy? The time? How do they even get out of bed in the morning, knowing what they will face in the day ahead?

    And is the image of Alfred E Neuman and/or the phrase “What, me Worry?” trade marked or copy righted?
