Not too comforting

Posted by Ron Coleman on July 30, 2007

This just in:

A driver ran a checkpoint at a nuclear weapons plant early Monday and crashed into a barrier, then fled on foot, authorities said.

The guy “ran” a checkpoint and the checkpoint became rather irrelevant.  Bad.

The car hit a barrier and there it stopped.  Good.

The guy got out and ran away.  And, the story says, they’re still looking for him.

Pretty bad.  Inexcusable, even?

  1. Not enough detail to decide just what this means.

Was the checkpoint two miles out from the plant? Was the crash barrier 1.5 miles out?

Those are questions whose answers lead to different conclusions.

They may find some useful info in the car.
